I was talking with a store manager in my area and he made a comment bring Wallace 3 pt. equipment into the area. Can anybody tell me about their equipment, quality, warranty, and customer service?

I've checked out Wallace Equipment. Solidly built stuff. I plan on selling it. http://wallacemfg.com

I always thought the red Wallace implements looked cheaply made and poorly finished. I had heard that the local TSC stores had stopped carrying Wallace because they had so much trouble with them. Seems like they are among the least expensive equipment around. Sometimes that tells you something but I usually don't listen. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

I've seen one of them out here (a box blade) and it was really poorly made, rusted, and the scarifiers were bolt on as opposed to the pin adjustments. Not a good unit. Maybe why that's why it was rusted. It still sits outside at the dealer and has probably been there for a couple of years.

I started a thread quite some time ago about the Wallace stuff I found at my local TSC. Like TD says, it was faded, had paint peeling everywhere and was terribly rusted. This was "new" equipment that looked pretty old and tired already. I don't recall now, but in the earlier thread I even listed the two mark downs taken on the equipment. I remember thinking that, given the condition of the stuff, the markdowns weren't enough to justify a purchase of even a carry all.

Doesn't mean it won't work just as good as a shiny one/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif
especially a carry all or a box blade that will have the paint scraped off the first time you use it with gravel.

I agree with you totally. There was just something about buying "new" in worse shape than most "used" I see that bothered me.
