infol for a blackhawk backhoe
I just bought a Satoh S370D for Billy and it came with a Blackhawk backhoe. It really needs some TLC. I was able to find a parts manual and a service manual for the Tractor, but can't find anything about the backhoe. Anyone got any ideas where I might find info? Just about got the wiring done on the tractor and the new seat looks really good. Have a new starter coming the first of next week. The backhoe has several cylinders/rams leaking and would like to replace or repack them. One ram has a gouge in the piston arm (?) and would like to replace that if possible. Does anyone know if the blackhawk is interchangeable with anything currently on the market or where I might get a parts or service manual for one?

IIRC, the Blackhawk backhoe was made by Arps Corp., which is now Ameriquip Corp. You could try contacting them here: Tractor Attachments by Amerequip Corporation - Contact Us.

Thank you for the information. Sorry it took so long to respond. Computer crashed and just today was able to get back on line. Thank you again.

You could also just take the cylinders to a local hydraulic shop-they can reseal them or sell you the parts to do it yourself.

Billy (or anyone with any info/experience with a blackhawk backhoe),
How has the BH done for you? Do they hold up well? What are they comparable to in terms of durability/etc.? Cheap Chinese, woods, etc.?
Any info would help as I am looking for something small to do some light-duty work.
Thank you.
