Default What size seeder can I pull?

I have a L3010 and I would like to get something to plant some corn and/or soybeen seeds. I can locate a number of 4 row seeders, but 2 row seeders seem hard to find. Anyone have an idea if I could pull a 4 row?

Doane's Ag. Reports "Estimated Machinery Operating Costs" lists a 40 hp tractor for use with a conventional 4-row planter and a 60 hp tractor for use with a minimum-tillage 4-row planter.

Thanks for the info. I did locate an old Ford 2 row seeder, but it appeared to need a lot of work. see attachment.

I agree with stmiller2. Planters pull relatively easy. L3010 should have not problems. If you find a 3pt planter, be sure it is not to heavy for the lift arms. Try to find one in working condition. Parts may be hard to find and possibly could cost more than the planter.
