Soon I will be receiving my new Foton 704 with Cat II 3pt hitch. My King Kutter rotary cutter [Brush Hog now] is Cat I. I would like to make it easer to install and remove the cutter by installing a Northern Tool Quick Hitch. The Quick hitch comes in two sizes, Cat I and Cat II, obviously Cat II is the choose. Will there be any problems attaching the cutter to the Cat II quick hitch using Cat II to I bushings?

With a Cat II tractor,you may as well take advantage of the horsepower,speed, and size of your new tractor and begin a transition to Cat II attachments. Running Cat I attachments on a big utility tractor like yours can result in more attachment distruction,too,plus it just hoobles the true potential of your new tractor. Sorry,I cannot answer your question directly. Congrats on the new tractor,by the way. Tell us more about the chores you have planned for your Foton?

Ain't necessarily so. If you don't readjust the horizontal stabilizers to account for the narrower width of a Cat 1 implement, the implement may strike the tires on slopes and in turns. And when making this horizontal adjustment, you're no longer "wider". But if you install one of those QuickHitches, you've lost the width adjustment capability altogether. A true Cat II quick hitch will be 32" wide, but Cat I implement pins are only 26" apart. That should give you a picture of the problem. I had a QH once, sold it in favor of the PEC system. But if you still think it's a good idea, you need the one in the middle - the Cat 2/1 Quick Hitch (then buy a lot of adapter bushings).
Plus, the rear track of the 704 is quite wide. You didn't state what kind mower, but odds are good it's not gonna cover that rear track. Plus, the extra power of the larger tractor presents a much greater potential for damage to Cat 1 implements. After my own upgrade years ago, I bent the piss outa the old Cat 1 boxblade - and actually broke the old Cat 1 landscape rake into two pieces. Plus my rotary cutter was now too narrow. When you upgrade to a Cat II tractor, you should really (really) evaluate which of your implements are candidates for up-sizing too.

Nope.
your implement has a fixed width on the pins. It is cat 1 size.
Your tractor should have flexable 3pt arms. They likely can be adjusted with turnbuckles or chains as narrow as a cat 1 implement, or as wide as a cat 2 implement.
If you buy a cat 1 quickhitch, it might fit on your tractor, and will fit your implements. You might have trouble with loose pins, or the slots the lower arms slip into being too narrow. But, you have a chance of it working.....
The cat 2 quickhitch will not, ever, fit a cat 1 implement. It won't work that way.
There are a few more expensive, older quick hitches that you can unbolt & put together as either cat 1 or cat 3.
I agree, your bigger tractor will do better with a bigger mower, for sure.
