hey, i recently purchased a farm's entire equipment lot and an old burch 4 row planter that came with it. it has the old steel spoke style wheels with about 1" rubber, metal round hoppers and lids, and is 3 pt hitch. the only info on the data plate i can read is the serial number which is 30999. the only other thing i can read is "P3" stamped on the sprockets. i can not find any information online about these planters as far as value and history. i do know it hooks up and everything works perfectly on it. i even planted 25 bushels of soybeans as a food plot this weekend with it. any help or info would be greatly appreciated!

The link given in the last post does not work. I have a current thread about cage gears on the BIY forum and found this old thread during a Google search after I was told on another forum that these 4 row Burch machines had exactly the same type of drive as I am wanting to build for my own seed drill. Can anybody confirm that?
