New Titan Grapple

Bill at titan has responded and said he will not cover the defective grapple.

Did he explain why?

At first he tried to fix it by replacing the cylinder, then a bent jaw. This did not fix it, so I asked for further help and he would not address the sticking problem, but addressed the issue of the hydro hose failure. see video. After repeated attempts to get Bill to even respond about the sticking issue. I told him i I would send a video demonstrating the problem and if he wouldn't address it I would make the video public. And I told him that I thought replacing it was the only fix since it was a design problem or the main frame of the grapple was bent. I began addressing the sticking issue after I had had the grapple about 10 months, although I had been dealing with it since the grapple was about 6 months old. The problem has gradually gotten worse, it now sticks open even if the grapple is leaning back and you open it all the way, very frustrating. He finally responded attacking me for threatening them in order to get what I wanted. A simple answer to your Q would be, NO, he didn't explain why. I just don't want to deal with him anymore, not worth the trouble.

How did you pay for it? Can you put it into dispute? If Bill has gone tone deaf again he needs to feel the consequences.

It is a good thing that you posted that video. It shows the problem very well. Not enough angle on the cyl.


Do some measuring on the mounting post for the grapple and you might see why the grapple is sticking.

If they were designed wrong, he would have a hard time cutting and replacing them.

You could fix the problem yourself by measuring correctly and cutting off the post and building some new post to mount the grapple.

AS far as forgiving someone for sending out a bad product, why would you forgive anyone for that kind of shoddy workmanship.

Thanks for the advice J J. Forgiving for a shoddy product is so much less than my offenses toward God. Forgiving them is a God's way, for me to release it and have no bitterness or ill will toward them.

Just came to that conviction last night, Murphy. I would prefer to not mention it, anymore. Prefer fix suggestions on the grapple.
