Woods GB72 vs Frontier1072?
I'm on the market for a 6' box blade.
My local Deere dealer has an older model Frontier BB1072 that's been sitting out front for a long time, I think new old stock. There's also a Woods dealer that says he has a GB series 72".
Any feedback on either one?

How much do they each weigh? How much do they each cost? Have you looked at the weld quality. Do they have Tilt, Angle, Offset positions? Do you have remotes at the rear of your tractor?

Re: Woods GB72 vs Frontier1072?
I have a Medium duty 72" Woods Box blade and love it. Only about 50 hours of use so far but no issues whatsoever. It's very well built and I work it in very Rocky terrian and pull it with a 50hp Gear tractor. The price was a little higher than I liked but I really liked the dealer I was buying from and the product so far has been excellant. They're a very versatile attachment and if i had to buy another BB right now it would be another Woods. In fact, there quality of this product will lean mean towards more of theIr attachments.

Re: Woods GB72 vs Frontier1072?
Thanks for the replies. No rear hydraulics. I'm specifically comparing what my Deere dealer has, a Frontier BB1072, to what my local Woods dealer has, a GB series 72.
I think the GB series is the "Standard Duty" and the HB series is the "Medium Duty". I'm glad to get some positive feedback on the Woods. Maybe the Frontier is more comparable to the HB series than the GB series Woods? That might explain some of the price difference. I'm going to ask about the medium duty BB at the Woods dealer.
Even thought the tractor is nice brand-new shiny green, I won't mind a Woods-burnt orange in back. I still suspect that the Deere/Frontier stuff is painted green mostly just because they like the color of my money so much.
