Have been searching for a set of forks when I came across these. I could not find much info on the net on these. They are Woods Dual and have 2 hydraulic cylinders, 1 to lift and 1 to tilt. Mount on the 3 point hitch, Cat 2. They are in very good condition. They connect into remotes, obviously need 2 sets. Seem to be pretty heavy duty.

Anybody have any idea of what they may be worth?

No one knows anything about these? How about an opinion? Any thoughts on this type vs forks on the loader.

I have never seen it, but if you have a FEL with any type of QA setup I think it would be a waste of money.

Most people can lift more with their 3 pt hitch versus their front loader.

Personally, I'd love to have a 3pt forklift attachment for moving pallets of firewood around. Having hyd lift and tilt would be really nice for 3pt use. Does it have a mast (vertical rails) for the lift part?

Could be an awesome setup if you can adapt it to an SSQA plate for FEL use or fab something pin-on for your particular FEL so you can use it on either end of your tractor.

Yes it does have mast rails and a hydraulic cylinder to lift it. I think the cylinder was like 5 feet so, so when the lift of the 3 point is figured in it should be 6 ft or a bit better.

Did not think about coming up with a mount for the fel, that could also be handy.

I've often thought of a 3pt forklift myself, as the rear axle can take much more weight than the front. Also, as stated earlier, the 3pt can lift much more than the loader If you don't mind, what kind of price are we talking about?

Well I do not know the price, seller has not yet given me one. That is kind of why I was asking for some input here on the forums. I did find one listed by a company that makes equipment and they have something similar that they want about $1900 for new.

My thoughts are something in the $500 range would be a good buy and perhaps $800 would be about the upper limit.

A set of forks with the european mount fel that I have would be about $650 plus shipping, so...

Called Woods today and was able to get a lot of info on this unit. They have not been made since 1994 but pretty much all the parts would still be available. It was called a Mast 40 and was rated at 4000 pounds lift capacity, 70 inches lift height. Weight is 630 pounds. The rep said they would print a manual for me if I end up purchasing. Nice people out there and very helpful! Price in 1994 was $1395 and that did not include any hydraulic hoses.

I have Woods/Du-all 3 pt fork lift. It will lift to 4' and rated for 4000 lbs. It is very similar to a Gnuse 3 pt fork lift. Gnuse Mfg. Inc.

It has a single lift cylinder. The other cylinder you mention is just a hydraulic toplink so the forks can be tilted front/back on a 3 point. I use mine on my Toolcat. The TC has only 7' of lift. I have a skid steer to 3 pt adapter, and use it on the front. Now i can lift 10-11'. I paid $400 for mine this summer from a farmer who used them to move pallets of seed. Found it on Craigslist. I have seen them bring easily over $1000. It was in very good condition and stored inside. They are cat II and very well built. I just used it last week to lift/plant 40 balled and burlapped, 5-6' blue spruce trees last week. I could place the forks over the tree on the trailer and used 3 chains hanging from the forks to lift each basket. Worked just as planned.

I also have the owners manual. There manual is quite simplistic and is only a few pages.
