OH BOY,
You will have a lot of responses about this
So much depends upon:
Tractor type
patience
budget
duty cycle- use
time for snow clearing
patience
length of driveway or road
patience
need for chains and ballast-a must
patience
Anyway the best brand in my opinion is the Pronovost line of snow blowers in my opinion as they build thier snowblowers for canadian winters and I can vouch for the quality of workmanship fromt he standpoint of welding and design
The Group 1 models rated for your prime mover have a 30 inch cutting height
and 74-80 inch cutting width.
The Group 2 P740 is properly sized for your tractor
74 inch cutting width and a 34 inch cutting hieght.
"A" snow blower is an implement that will outlast a tractor and can be used on another tractor and not having to worry about trading it in.
If you over buy a snow blower or tractor you will have the machinery needed for heavier work loads with Zero issues of overloading.
Buying one of Clarences impeller kits will throw trhe snow that much further and have less to worry about with slush and slop as well.

A 6 foot width should suit that tractor. How much snow do you anticipate getting into and how big an area will require cleaning. A hydraulic chute rotator will be a blessing if you anticipate lengthy periods of operation requiring the chute discharge direction to be adjusted. Nothing worse than blowing that white stuff directly into the wind and even if you have a heated cab that blow back will crust you up in no time. As I said ... depends on the conditions you anticipate working in.
And I agree that Pronovost make a good unit.

Where you live and annual snowfall? Any idea of average storm totals?
Have you got any neighbors really close?

Well, since you are a Kubota guy, I would recommend the Frontire SB1174.:thumbsup:
The only thing wrong with the unit, in your eyes, is that it is Green. Nothing a can of Kubota red can't fix.
Like leonz has said...It will outlast your tractor.
Or, check out what your Kubota dealer has to offer. I would do this first. I have heard Blizzard makes the red ones and they too are a good unit. When decideing it's all in the specs and weight of the unit.
Plan to spend around $2500 for a good blower.

Funny you should mention the SB1174, if I have to go with a rear blower that's one I'm looking at for my 3320.

I think if you see the unit you would be pleased with the build quality and the specs compare well, too.
Mine is shiney new out in the garage and I am some anxious to blow some snow. Heck, I don't even mind when it comes back at me. It only hurts for a second.
The finished product is a work of art.!!
The front blower is about 5 grand by the time you're done, what's the ball park price of the SB1174 out the door?
