We found this used spring loaded trip 3-16 Ford 101 Series with original paint and easy adjust crossbar adjustment lever and with original Coulters. It has Catagory 2 three point hitch. From looking at the plow, It appears to have been bought new and used a couple times and then set inside and forgot about or the original purchase may have passed? Anyway this is not the $500-$600 type plow that I am used to seeing. It is the best 101 that I have seen in 33 years of selling equipment(other than a new Ford). Price is stiff, but worth every penny at $995 + modest shipping. I know it is high, however, I did not want it to get away. Plow needs nothing in the way of repairs. Ken Sweet

Very nice piece of equipment. We lucked onto a really good Massey Ferguson 3-bottom I think a few years ago for a couple hundred bucks, but not near as nice as that.

Question on plows. Why do some people remove the coulters from them? The last 3 or 4, 1,2,3 bottom plows I have run across have all had the coulters removed.

When you are plowing in tall weeds, vines or grass, the coulters will accumulate debris and clog and you will need to get off and remove before continuing plowing. There are used best on a field that has been pastured down by livestock or brush hogged down or plowed before the cover crop gets more than about 1 ft tall. The coulters can be easily removed by loosing the clamp and sliding out. Ken Sweet

Thanks for the answer. I guess the ones I have seen were owned by lazy people or they just did not care. They cut the front ones off with a torch and I did not understand why anyone would do that.

If anyone needs coulters, I have 5 really nice used ones that came in Monday. They will not fit the Dearborn and Ferguson with the 1 1/4 inch shanks. They fit most all others as they have the bigger 1 3/8 inch diameter shanks. $75 each + UPS shipping. For pictures, Email: sweet@scrtc.com or Call Toll Free 1-866-528-3323 or 270-528-3323 Ken Sweet

I HIGHLY recommended the Canon PowerShot A1100 IS for a point and shoot camera (~$120 on Amazon for the camera, a bag and a 2gb card).
For point and shoot purposes, the one we have will take better pictures than my wife's Canon DSLR (Digital Rebel XTi).

Remember, you can ALWAYS reduce the quality of the picture to make it smaller, but it is MUCH harder to increase the quality after the fact.
