Kubota L5740 with LA854 FEL
I've looked at the Kubota L2195 for my L5740 which requires removing the loader arms, but prefer a snowblower that would attach to the loader arms using the quick attach mechanism. I do not know the positives and negatives of either setup and am looking for some insights.

Might be a matter of hydraulics available to power the snowblower on the FEL.

Or will it have its own engine for power?

I know the Kubota snowblower runs off of the mid-PTO on the tractor. I am not sure what the quick attach system runs on. If it is hydraulics, I'd be skeptical. I'll have to investigate more on that question.

i doubt you are going to have the hydraulic flow necessary to run a hyd drive blower, hence no loader mounted option as there is no way to drive it. skid steers have 3-5x the hyd flow of our tractors, so they can run a 30gpm blower

There are hydraulic blowers for tractors like you describe (Deere has one for 4x20 series) but they all require a PTO driven hydraulic pump (some call it a power pack) to give you enough flow. Looks like a good system but circa 10 grand.

Plusses and minuses

Using the Pronovost Puma hydraulic drive snow blower for the example:

You need enough hydraulic fluid and larger enough pump to run it and they have 4 different pump sizes to fit.

If you want to use a loader mounted snow blower it will be better for you to order a PTO pump and reservoir from John Deere or some other brand to power the snow blower in this way you will be able to buy the fluid power to run the biggest or smallest Hydraulic Drive Puma snow Blower.

A Pronovost Lynx, Puma or Pronovost group one rear mounted snow blower for your tractor would cost you less money though.

Each and every time you remove the bucket you lose the ability to use the loader.

The hydraulic blowers require a lot of flow and pressure and a pto pumps is best for this.
