Hi Everyone,
I'm a tractor newbie. I watch my neighbors drive past the house with their big John Deeres and Kubotas and I sigh. Most are farmers and have big needs. I only have 5 acres with a horse and donkey and a bunch of goats and chickens. I'm looking for a compact tractor to help out with chores (gardening, snow removal, etc) and to cut lawn and pasture grass.

I'm looking for a tractor in the JD 2320 or Kubota 2620 class. I'm struggling between buying used with a FEL or new with FEL and MMM.

One question that I have is about attachments. Does anyone have suggestions for purchasing 3rd party mid mount mowers (60 to 62 inch)? How much do these cost for a medium quality unit?

Thanks,
George

You may want to post this in a different sub-forum so more people see it

Maybe the buying / pricing forum

or

the attachment forum

I am not aware of any aftermarket MMM, except for woods, who make some for vintage tractors (old 2 cyl. JD's etc.)

Not sure what type of mower your looking for, do you want a grooming mower or a small shredder. We sell a few different ones. For a grooming mower I would recommend a Land Pride, you'll never find a mower built as good or strong, but if it's a shredder, I would say a Modern, they are Galvanized coated. And built nice, best of all is there price. My favorite is Land Pride they just a bit pricier then the others. But take a look a Modern Manuf. On line at all their line of implements !!
