I am tryng to remove the blades on a 720 Squealer. I'm having trouble getting the blade bolts out so I can remove them to repair and or replace. The owners manual doesnt list or say anything about a pin to be removed.Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks Carey.

Take the nut off and take a hydraulic bottle jack and put it under the stump jumper just behind the bolt that holds the blade, this way there is no flex when you hit the bolt to drive it out of the blade, I have this exact same mower and this procedure has worked for me every time. Also a good sledgehammer with a short handle and good driving pin helps.

Thanks thats what I figured and I wasn't missing anything. I could only see a slot for Maybe a Cotter pin. They have never been removed. It's not mine just pulling some Maint. for a Older lady thats a neighbor. I went ahead and pulled the pin and Dropped them and they looked to be like German -----s just GOODNTIGHT. :p

I've never seen cutter blades sharpened like that????????????? I also have a Squealer 72.

I bet it probably cut a lot better than factory.

I ran it for about an hour after getting it back together. Cuts Great  It has never cut as good since I've used it. Just was able to clean and sharpen the blades up.
