Where would you put another tooth? I understand one on the backside. Where on the front?
As noted earlier I haven't noted any problem with the ripper pulling itself into the ground and the ripper backplate and thumb probably are in some combination responsible. The thumb is big and wide enough that no modifications seem necessary.
Actually my idea was to add up to 10 carbide teeth about 1/2 wide in the front, and back for some sawing action.on the curved blade. The carbide teeth would stick out about 1/2 in on the curved blade My plan calls for a saw edge front and back. I had envisioned the thumb with a flat plate on the bottom to allow the claw to make a full curl.
