For winter use I wanted to use the bb to pull snow away from the front of my garage door then use snowblower to huck it away. Well with the blade there was a chance the 1/4" side plates and the aggressive scraper blade would/could cause damage to the concrete and blacktop driveway, I built some skidshoes for it. Started with 3/8"x2" flat bar 13" long and "flared" each end up a few degrees, the upright sides are 1/4"x3" flat with "oval" holes in them for up/down adjustments.
Simple design and adjustable. Never seen em before on a bb, only seen gauge wheels for them. Now the bb has another use. Best of all they install/remove easily in a couple minutes.
