Did I bend my PTO drivehaft?

I would find a safe way to view the to stump jumpers to see if they have any unusual wobble to them at low RPMs. If one shakes or wobles more than the other then its will be clear which one of the two migh be damaged. the stump jumper itself wont be the problem it would be the output shaft that spins the jumbers, and sometimes when one of the gear boxes get worn or damaged they will have a intermitant vibration at differant RPMs too.

You should be able to remove the PTO shaft and take off the plastic shields. If it slides all the way in then it liklely is not bend also you can lay each shaft half on a flat surface to check for bends. I bought a used tiller that had a bent shaft and I could clearly see the wobble when the shaft was turning. Also the inner shaft would not fully slide into the outer shaft. As others have said begin by checking the blades and stump jumper. Good luck.

You don't really need to remove the shield. As long as the driveline collapses and extends freely (as will the shield), the driveline is OK (meaning not bent).

As a FYI. Being that you are looking at the shafts condition, there is a procedure to measure the length of the overlap when the shaft is fully extended. For my King Kutter the minimum overlap is 6 inches, I measure 8-1/2 inches. Follow the procedure in your owners manual.
