Backhoe Backhoe for Ford 1700

I just got a Ford 1700 with a bucket, and would like to find a backhoe for it. Are there any backhoes other than the Ford 757 and 758 that will fit it? I have not found either of those for sale.

There are a variety of 3-pt backhoes that will work well. I have a 14 year old Woods 750 that I ran on my 1710 and still use on my 1920. In fact the current line of Woods backhoes is a better design and can be obtained to match the color of your tractor.

Thanks, did you have to get a frame for the 1710 also, or do the Woods backhoes fit without the frame you need for the Ford ones?

Straight 3-point hitch. The b'hoe hitch frame includes an adjustable upper hitch member which is used in lieu of the normal top link for strength and ridgidity. I've used this b'hoe on 3 different tractors over the 12+ years I've had it without any issues associated with 3-point. One does need to make sure that the 3-pt lift control lever is ALWAYS kept in the full down position. Nowadays the Woods backhoes can be fitted with subframes.

I have a Kubota B4530 3 point backhoe and other implements I am wishing to liquidate. As well as my Ford 1700. I was injured in Afghanistan and no longer wish to persue this as a pastime. I'd take $2500 for the backhoe. It does not have the PTO pump and I have never used this unit on my tractor. I was going to put it back in shape and use it when I returned home. I am located in Ohio near Sidney. I bought his unit near Baltimore, Maryland..
