The tractor was fine the other day. Today I used the front end loader a lot and use the box blade to level some dirt. I did pick up and move some very heavy stumps with the tractor. I generally was not lifting the front end loader up very high in the air. It seemed to work fine but after moving some heavy stumps I could hear a squealing everytime I lift the front end loader.

When I went to put it away I tried to lift the front end loader up all the way and it stopped about 3/4 of the way up. It made this squealing sound and would not lift the rest of the way. I checked the rear transmision fluid level and it was fine. I did not see any leaks or anything. I did a quick insepction of the hydralic lines and I did not appear to be kinked anywhere.

What shoudl I look for. This seems like a hydrolic pump issue not an attachment issue. Is this covered under the tractor warranty because its over one year old so my attachments are no longer warrantied. Any advice would be great. It seems to run fine and drive fine but just cant raise the front end loader all the way.

The squealing could be the relief going off. Is there anything mechanical interfering with the loader operation. Does the 3pt work normally? Is the lever for the 3pt up ? If it is, lower it a little, and see if the loader will work normally.

I always encourage everyone to install a hyd gage in the hyd system to monitor hyd performance, and trouble shooting.

99% of the time it's the QD's when thinks like this happen...Unplug all 4 of the QD's (quick disconnects) that feed the loader, wipe them off and re-seat them.

Ok I will try this. Hopefully its something simple like that. Will try connecting them. The 3 pt seems to be functioning fine. Thanks

Kenny. You are the man. The red one came disconnected but was still in the outlet. I connected it and my loader now functions normally. Thanks a ton.

yea the worst part was it it was still snug in the connection. Its like a branch just pushed back the disconnect lever just enough for it to pop half way off. It wasnt until I started wiggling it around that it came fully disconnected. Thanks again guys.

You know whats sad is I drive an ford superduty diesel. To turn the glow plugs on you have to turn the key like your going to start it but not start it. This cycles the glow plugs. I though my tractor was the same way. I never knew you had to push the key in until I read the manual trying to figure out this issue. I wondered why it ran rough in the winter lol. I know I am a dumbass.
