Tractor
Ford New Holland 2120
I am new member and not sure if I am on right site. I have a 1996 Ford New Holland 4WD tractor and need a used front end loader, hopefully quick attach of some sort. Does anyone have an idea on where to purchase and what models fit this tractor.

Finding a used loader is a very difficult task. Once one goes on a tractor, it normally stays on. Ken Sweet

Which model tractor do you have? I have come across a few used loaders for mid-90s Ford tractors since I bought my 1520. There are a couple of places in PA that have (or had) some for sale.

Welcome Watson San, and you are surely at the right site. You'll see ;' >

As Ken says below, used loaders may be hard to come by, HOWEVER the very silver lining in this cloud is that you now have the grand opportunity to pick the type of loader, with or without, or set up for all the farkles that a tractor owner might wish for.

In other words, there are LOTS of variables in loaders, and attachments. Your mission now, and I presume you will take it, is to really put on your thinking cap and sort out everything you will be wanting to use said loader for, now in in the futiure, and get one that will accommodate those needs. As with most things, spend the bux for a great one NOW and you will congratulate yourself later for having the foresight to do so.

So, your next research and questions should be related to what all will you want to do with the loader, and which size, accessories, attachments, capabilities/etc. etc. will fill your bill.

Have fun. A great opportunity for you. And, TBN *IS* the place to ask these questions and get lots of answers.

And, you will get much quicker and more focused information if you always include all the details in a question. In this case, the model of your tractor...

Regards,
Dennis

I forgot to add, fill out some of your profile, so folks at least know what state, province or country you're in. This can be very helpful info. No salesmen will track you down at your house if you give some details.

No idea what would fit - but you might look at Craigslist - loaders occasionally show up for sale - here's one in Vermont for example. There would be some fitting to do. Good luck and have fun.

Try Used Tractors For Sale at TractorHouse.com: John Deere Tractors, used farm tractors and farm equipment, tractors for sale, Case IH, New Holland, Agco, Kubota They have a section of just loaders for sale. Check dealers, let the saleman know you are looking. Ask if the have a swap board you can post a Wanted Ad on. Watch for farm auctions, many will sell a loader tractor and separate the loader from the tractor in the bidding process, seems the sum of the parts can be worth more than the complete unit.

Years ago I had a JD 2030 with a loader for sale. I offered the loader separate, but not the tractor. I did not want to end up selling the tractor first and then have loader setting a round. Loader was the first to sell, then the tractor sold too.

Post a wanted ad in CL.
