Is there a mount available to mount a 05 JD48 backhoe on a 08 JD3320? Part #...maybe?

Try not to double post. It's frowned upon here.

This is a good question for your local Deere dealer. The 48 backhoe was designed for the older 4300/4310 and 4400/4410 tractors, but there looks to be some commonality of parts with the newer 3x20 series machines.
There is a JD Parts website. You have to register, but once that is done, you can search for all the parts required to mount the backhoe and see if any are common to your 3320.
It'll take some time and work, but you'll get your answer (meaning it's a "bolt up" mounting).

IIRC, the 48 was mounted on a subframe. Assuming that subframe is still avaliable, you may be able to modify it to work on your 3320.

I happened by my JD dealer today to ask this very question. I have seen a couple of 48s on CL and was curious. The salesperson went to somewhere on his system that gave him tractor compatibility information for the 48 hoe. The 3X20 series is compatible. He printed me out a sheet with the specifics. Based on this sheet, you need (beyond the power beyond hydraulics):

1) an "adapter weldment plate or subframe adapter" part number BM19566 which is the same part number for the 4300 and 4310 so I am thinking they are interchangeabe

2) "3x20 tractors require rockshaft assist mounting brackets and hardware" part number LVB25611. The part number for the 43\4 00 and 43\4 10 is not the same in this case leading me to believe they are different (same verbiage as above but part number BM19564)

The gentleman was not sure why some part numbers start with BM and others start with LVB so I let that go. Anyway - if someone has done this I would love to know if I could just swap numbers 1 and 2 above to my 3320 from an older model. Based on the part numbers, it looks like number 1 would work but not number 2, though the salesperson was not sure why.

Second but related question - where there any major issues with the 48 that I should be aware of when evaluating a used one? I guess any general backhoe stuff I should know? Can't really justify a new backhoevbut would love to find a reasonably used one.

Thank You - Dana
