Cat 0 to Cat 1 3 point hitch

I have a JD 455 that needs a cat 0 3 point hitch.
What exactly is the difference between Cat 0 and Cat 1 and can a Cat 0 tractor be converted to Cat 1?

And the answer to the seconds question is "sometimes" when it comes to implements, but if you want CAT1 on your 455, then probably no.

Deere made a cat. 0 3PH for your 455. But it is getting a little long in the tooth so you may have to shop for a used one. They also offered a quick hitch that worked very well on heavy things like a tiller.
