Default Cat 0 to Cat 1 3 point hitch

    I have a JD 455 that needs a cat 0 3 point hitch.
What exactly is the difference between Cat 0 and Cat 1 and can a Cat 0 tractor be converted to Cat 1?

Here are some measurements: Three-point hitch - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And the answer to the seconds question is "sometimes" when it comes to implements, but if you want CAT1 on your 455, then probably no.

Deere made a cat. 0 3PH for your 455. But it is getting a little long in the tooth so you may have to shop for a used one. They also offered a quick hitch that worked very well on heavy things like a tiller.

Life is easier when you plow around the stumps.
