Although those are older Cole units they are still in business and they were good units! Most farm machinery dealers should be able to help you find it and get it ordered.

To know more about the plate holder might also give a easy fix from another application.

Thanks for the reply, I have tried to contact the people who bought out Cole with is Covington I believe no reply yet.

I bought the whole set up for 400.00 bucks 2 years ago. trying to get some peanuts or corn planted for the deer to eat in the 1 acre food plots around the farm. Bad thing is the peanuts the deer won't wait for the peanuts to come up good before they are attacking them....I guess need to try to of the deer tape that they have come out with...

Just wanted to ask if anyone might have a place where I can look for a PDF file or a copy of the manual on the Cole planters?
Thanks for your help

Not sure which planter you have but the Cole name and biz was bought by Covington Planter. The old standard 12MX is now made in China.
It has good tolerances but crappy paint and rusts if you even look at it funny. Your picture shows standard planter plates that are commonly available.

Don't get discouraged--make any parts too costly ot discontinued. Cole planters are simple in design and assembly.

The Cole 12MX is still made in the USA. It is a knock off copy that is made in China.

Quote from Covington Planter Co. from another post.

We, Covington Planter Company, did buy the Cole Planter Company in 2003. We are manufacturing the Cole planters in Albany, GA. They are not made in China as stated in the other reply. There is a knock off that is made in China and it is blue....the true Cole planters that we manufacture here in the USA are green.

I've emailed Cole in the past when I wanted extra plates. They do not readily respond to email. It took several emails over a few weeks to receive a reply. I'd recommend you call them if you have any questions about their planter. They might even mail you a copy of the manual if you ask. They also refused to sell me plates directly. I had to go through a dealer even though there are no dealers in Ontario.

If you let me know where you are from I might be able to get you to the distributer of Cole in your area and they would let you know who to go to!

Many companies work through dealers and distributers and have no system for anything else!
