Considering a 72" offset, tilting back blade for my 30 HP Kioti. Everything Attachments has one that looks interesting. Used for rough drieway, snow, trail maintenance, building etc.

Anyone have one, or one similair. How is it holding up? The idea of articulation at the hitch & the blade will let me get the blade out more, wondering if it will pull the tractor much though?

I think you will wish for more weight in/on the tractor, which you may figure out a way to add without trading up to a heavier tractor. :)

Have a large cab tractor, but it is just too big for the places I need / want to go....

Your tractor will handle a 72" without any problems. I would be looking at an 84" for your Kioti. You can angle the blade and offset some and still get a pretty good path cleared.

I have a 27 hp bota and use an 84 inch blade. You have a little mroe tractor so I wouldn't get a 6 footer. That'll just clear the wheels a little when not angled and will barely clear the wheels when fully angled. Aslo if you offset to one side, the other will probably not even cover the wheel. Depending on what you want to plow, it will torque the tractor and your lower link arms quite a bit because of the leverage. My blade is capable of being offset but I have'nt used it that way though I'd probably be ok on snow.

If Ohming gets an 84" blade and offsets it about a foot or so and with a 20-30 degree angle, I would think that he will be fine. Start to offset it a lot and the front end may start coming around. It all depends on the conditions and how much ballast he has. If the tires are filled and he has a bucket full of whatever, it will take a lot more to get the front end sliding sideways.

One last thing, if your looking at spending around $1000, I would look at other brands before deciding on one.

JMO, good luck.;)

I agree with the others. I had a 6' grader blade and it was just not wide enough for my Jinma 284 when you had the blade angled. I now got 7' Woods HD blade and its much better. I can get right up against things now without tearing up the tractor and it covers the wheel width.

Thanks for all the input. My problem is my property is in timber status, and is thick with coniferous timber. So the offset would be great for moving berms and staying out from the trees. I have a lot of decomposed granite for soil -- ha, what soil --, so I am thinking a 6' would be inherently stronger and have more wieght per foot. Not looking to do big work with a 52" wide small tractor, but I'd rather make 2 swipes sharing the duty and sparing the equipment. Hey, I get to keep shopping and thats half the fun anyhow.

my 1.5 cents on a back blade that you can offset... i have a brushog blade that you can tilt.. swing.. and offset... its a heavy duty blade and does a great job.. you should REALLY see the blade in action on a tractor before you buy it though.. in my opinion.. b/c you only have a few preset holes to work with.. you don't really gain to much use when you offset.. at least this is my experience... anyway.. i use it.. but find that theres just not enough offset and swing combo's to do everything.. so .. just see it in action before you spend extra on it..

We all have our different needs/ideas for wanting an offset, angle or tilt feature on our rear blades.

I use my offset and tilt to grade ditches - keeps my tires away from ditch and does a great job.

Also use the offset feature to shove snow berms further off roadway without my tires driving on the berm.

Admittingly, I use the offset and tilt features less seldom than I thought I would.

I like my 72" blade because I can swing it 360 degrees while still mounted on tractor. Might be useful information to keep in mind if you want/need to turn blade around.
