Snow Blade What snowplows are out there?

Hello. I run a little snow removal business, and I have 12 driveways all 300ft long, so there not giant, but somewhat big.

I have a craftsman ys4500 thats been such a workhorse for me, reliable, durable, power, ect. I'm looking for a plow besides the craftman blade. I have seen the Johnny Plow which is nice. What do people think about the johnny plow, and are there any other nice plows out there?

Look at Moose plows. I have one on my ATV - still going strong after 10 years of merciless abuse.

Wouldn't you be better off having the rear tires loaded with winshield washer anti freeze to gain traction?


You can always use fluid film or cooking spray to make the plow slippery or use flexible poly liners to cover the plow blade or ski wax if you wished.

I would be more worried about a wider plow wear out the transmission of your tractor only because of its smaller size.

Another option is the bercomac motorised snowblower for your tractor which will be easy to move to another tractor when the time comes.
