Looking to purchase a 60" Core Aerator

I drag an aerator (48"?) I got from Northern behind my lawn mower. I pile rocks on top of it and it works great. Cheap too. I stand it on end in my shed (light weight) when not using it.

If this Frontier doesn't work out and I buy a new one Woods is at the top of my list. I think Woods makes the Frontier HD because they sure do look the same to me except the color. I'm hoping the Frontier 2060E does a good enough job as I have many more attachments to get this lawn season, a 3 pt rototiller and an overseeder. I can save about $1000.00 over a heavier model aerator.

What do you do to get your equipment list to come up each time you post? I wouldn't think you' have to write all that down each time. Also how do you post pictures? Thanks

Go to your home page (second row at top of this page, on the left side of the page click on edit signature and set up your signature the way you want. I don't have all of my stuff listed but most of it is, there is a limit to this text.

Pictures, most people download their cameras into the computer and pic what is needed using the Manage attachments, then browse, then select pictures on your computer, locate picture and double click.. should add this to the list to download. Someone more computer savvy and younger may chime in on this..

Instead of starting a new thread, I'll just add on here. I also want a 3pt aerator. 60". I am in st. louis, mo area.
I want a good piece (one that will last 20 years using 10 acres a year). Not much use.
I see the style with a single roller with spikes, and the individual 8 or 10 spike things.
Is one better?
Most of the cheaper ones are on a single roller with the higher $$ ones on single roller deals.
Any suggestions? I'd prefer to stay under 1500 ish. Used would rock, but they are like hens teeth.

WE sell the Surelink distributed by the same people that distributes Phoenix equipment. The 5 ft cost $1395 + shipping.

Surelink Core Tine Aerator's are well suited for landscapers, ground maintenance operations, golf courses, hobby farmers & the large property owner. They are heavy duty, well built that are powder coated painted. These aerators offer 6* heavy duty 3/4" spoons per flange. Each rotor has greasable bronze bushings for long life lasting. The SureLink Aerator comes in 48-60-72" widths that can be front or rear mount for the 3 point hitch on your tractor. These units have three stands for easy storage & hook up to your tractor. I got one of the single tube type from James Equipment in Sikeston,MO. It was less than $1000 new. It took a few mods to be perfect but I am very happy with it for my 5 acres. I am just suggesting it because you are within driving distance for it.

Thanks for the replies. I will check out James Equipment.
1395 for the Surelink is probably not to horrible, but shipping sort of screws the pooch. (you could quote freight to 62298, though) The local dealer has a Frontier 60" for 2k. More than I want to spend, but 1 mile away.
I really don't need a frontier. I will keep searching. Open for suggestions.

Freight to a Truck terminal 18 wheeler accessible commercial business with 8-5 M-F staffed hours, listed in the phone book and has offload capabilities would be $100. 18 wheeler accessible farm delivery some higher. Ken Sweet

Do you have any better pics? Of the spoons?
Any chance of a better price?
What does it weigh?
Thanks
Steve

Oh, BTW, I can pick up at freight terminal in St. Louis. That is probably easiest.
