Rotary Cutter Modern Ag products

I like the look of the 10' predatorr pull type. I can't find a list of dealers, though. Do they sell direct or is there a dealer network? Anyone know the cost of this model?

I have the 7' predator 3pt model. I bought it in May 2010 for about $3700.00.
My last cutter was the 6' hiway special, I replaced some of the deck after 9 years of heavy use. It was not galvanized. They are some heavy duty cutters.
They sale through dealer networks, I live about 15 miles from their facility and had to get mine at a dealer. I am adding some contact info for Modern Ag Products this guy should be able to give you some dealer info:

Thank you. I actually emailed them yesterday and got a call about an hour later. They put me in touch with a dealer near me.

Well I got it, the 72" compeditor, picked it up this morning, since all the snow is gone, (thank God) now I'm waiting for the weeds to grow and make some money.
I don't know about the dealers that carry this Equipment, but I am sure that you can call the manufaturer and get the dealers that carry them.

It does seem that they have a better made product that the widely known cutter's on the market.
They seem to put a little more steel in them I did notice.

I have the ten foot predatorr. Bought it new three years ago for 5500 so it's not cheap. I might have saved by shopping around but I was relocating at the time and wanted to keep it simple. I bought mine from my local Mahindra dealer. My only gripe with the mower itself it the tounge design. It's a "U" shaped piece of steel that sags on the drawbar. I wanted to add one of those drawbar brackets that looks looks like a "Z" sort of so the pin is held more vertical but Mahindra does not make one for the 7520 4x4 that I pull the mower with and I have yet to fab one up myself. I think it would help a lot.

With the Mahindra, I find it hard to keep track of the sides of the mower. Perhaps it is the way the tractor seats me but the 3180 Woods batwing I used to have was much easier to follow perhaps simply due to the width. My other problem is my undulating property makes digging into the ground with the sides of the mower while trying to maintain my height an issue. I set up my pasture fence fourteen feet on average away from the surrounding trees. You would think that four extra feet would provide plenty of room but it gets tight. It takes a lot of dedicated space to park the mower under roof hence mine sits outside year round. No rust issues to speak of with the heavy galvanized deck. None of my issues with spacial constraints are meant to dis on Modern.

My Mahindra is rated 75hp and I have no issues with bogging down but a friend uses a 55hp Ford and does have some issues with that.

Thanks for the review. Sounds like you need to sell yours and get something different. ;)

I might be doing that and not because the mower is not quite right for me. I am downsizing and changing the way I do things. I may go to a smaller tractor with a finish mower.
