Default Help with Hitch

I recently obtained a set of disks that have two hitch attachment points that I am not familiar with. Does anyone know what the best approach would be to hook up this set of disks with a standard 3 point hitch. I am attaching pictures of the disk and attachment.

Help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

I am not familiar with this particular piece of equipment, but it looks like a part of a larger disk assembly, and not an individual unit.

From the picture, it is difficult to identify what we are looking at. Would you have another shot showing the whole rig? A first cursory look indicates, to me, we are looking at the top of the disk, and maybe the rear section. But need more information and an overall pic might do it.

Like the other guys, I'd need a picture of more of the implement, but it "looks" to me like someone has been using some type of quick attach system, in which case you'd also need the part that goes on the tractor.

From the looks of your picture... it appears to be "a rear section" of a two gang disc section... (with missing middle coupler)

<A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.tractorpartsunltd.com/harrow.jpg>...Here's an example of an older two gang unit...</A>

Actually, with a little ingenuity you can make yours work as a tow unit... think drawbar instead of 3-point hitch and you've got it...

You are going to have to fabricate a 3pt. You might be able to find the lower attach points to fit the square front from some other piece of equipment. The lower picking points on my jd tiller look about the same as far as the square shaft. Take a look at a brush hog for the top link. Don't use the swivel at the top link, just look at the way it is used on the mower to pick the back of the implement.
Good luck.

In reference to making a 3pt hitch, they actually make an "A" frame that I purchased at the local farm supply store to hook a tool bar to. It has two clamps attached to the A frame that are somewhat adjustable to clamp onto 2 inch tool bars. It migh tighten down close enough to fit this implement. If not the square front member could be shimmed to make it fit.
Good luck.
