Cure for sore neck from snow removal

/ Cure for sore neck from snow removal #11
The mirrors work very well. I was able to do a half-hour of snow removal this morning without any painful neck movement. Vibration on the exterior mirror was not a problem at the speeds I operate while plowing with the loader.

The point of this thread is basically that junked school buses are a great source of mirrors and hardware for their installation on tractor cabs, and the things are hardly scarce.
Sorry, I thought it was more related to solutions for minimizing head turning to prevent neck pains. I think other thought the same. I have large mirrors already just need something better since the mirrors can't view directly behind the tractor.

I still like the armor cab!

Reading this supports my decision to buy the FEL mounted power angle plow when I bought my L2900 10 years ago. I am trading up to an L4400 this week and attaching this unit to it. Also with the loader one can pile the snow as high as needed.
This is my 1st post, great site.

I definitely prefer my FEL QA power angle plow too instead of my rear blade. Very little head owling and it moves a lot more snow in one pass then my rear blade. But if future winters are like this one I may need a rear snow blower too.

Spent 2hrs recently blowing snow with the rear mount blower. I thought everything went fine till a neighbor came over to thank me, as we stood and spoke at the front my back went out. I guess I'll be looking for mirrors for mine as well.

Man TPH Blowers sound like a pain in the neck! If I had to have a blower and they look like they move some snow.Never used one in my life. I think I would have to have a front mounted one.

My 2 cents.

I thought I be able to handle the turning when blowing snow backwards. I did for a while. While returning a favor for a neighbor my back was strained. Self diagnosed as SI Joint strain. It's been a about 2 weeks and it is only now that I'm seeing slight improvement. With a good deal of winter left, I'm still fearful of more damage.

My purpose in adding to this thread is to caution serious consideration of the body mechanics necessary for reverse operation. Especially, in winter weather conditions.

Will look for mirrors , since I doubt I can justify a front blower for the CK20 S Kioti.

The more mirrors you have the easier it will be. If you have an all weather cab you might want to consider a "cab cam"

I think 4shorts has a camera...

And a thumpin' bass.

Anybody here rigged up a swivel bearing under the seat? I have been considreing this as I only need to turn my hips another 15 or 20 degrees to get a decent view behind me without too much "owling".
