I don't know why more of these coupons didn't go out. It might just be a marketing thing in our area. I love our local TSC, but I have to admit that the volume of business there has me worried about the store's long-term survival. This coupon may indicate a push for business to help them stay afloat. Perhaps also, TSC has decided that tax return time is a good time to find people in a spending mood. If so, I'd expect the coupon to expire on April 15th. This coupon is only good until Feb 20th, so maybe it relates to the slowest sales time historically for the local store. It's all a guess on my part. I'm just glad we got the coupon and I intend to use it for a larger than normal purchase of something we need.

BTW: The letter was mailed from Brentwood, TN. In the body of the letter it invited us to stop by the store and pick up a 2011 Bluebook Catalog. It also said that the discount was good until the end of Feb, but the coupon clearly says it expires on Feb 20. Maybe their Feb is a week shorter than ours.:laughing:

Well I guess I understand.. ... It would just make me spend more money that I really need to...

I buy a good bit of stuff from TSC and have tried the signing up online thing talked to employees at two different stores to try to figure out how to get the sale papers and the coupons sent to me in the mail and no luck yet after 2 years of trying I gave up, I'm glad some of you guys have had better luck.

I'll go tomorrow, Sunday afternoon, and spend my 10% coupon. It's only good for 5 days. I'll pick up layer pellets and maybe some lime.

I don't normally buy my layer pellets there, because,.. wait for it......

They are 10% over priced at TSC. :laughing::laughing:

Spent my coupon yesterday, as promised. Turns out that TSC has their shavings bedding cubes on sale. With 10% off, $4.05 a bale. Can't beat that. Got 200 lbs of layer feed, OUCH!! too high, even with coupon. And a tongue jack for my trailer. Had to go over $100, so at $109, I just did.

Pretty much a yawn.

Looked at a wood stove on clearance. Now THAT would have great to get an additional 10% off. It would have been a steal.

At $999 minus my 15% discount coupon that should put it cheaper than I bought the exact compressor for 9 yrs ago, less tax.

When I got my coupon there was a letter thanking me for my Ag account. I don't really have an "Ag" account, I only have purchased a few things under the "farm use" exemption. Maybe that's the reason I got the coupon.

I don't really need that big of compressor but the one I gave my brother is running great after 9 yrs, also I am seriously thinking of building a shop and returning to metal art as a hobby again and a good compressor is nice with a plasma!

15 % off sounds good @TSC. Just to let all Veterans know that they can get 10% off at Home Depot. Just showed my VA card and was given 10% off. I wonder if TSC has the same thing?

Just got mine today, its a 10% coupon, expires February 20. On the front it says 10% off entire purchase, but fine print on the rear says a $100 minimum purchase required.

Seems they have all flavors of these coupons.

Yeah, kind of threw me for a second when I 1st read the enclosed letter, "AG Account". That may be the in-house term they use for folks who have registered for "Farm Use" exemption on some purchases, that's the only thing I can come up with.

I made a mistake on the price of the compressor though, it will cost me $50 more than the same model did 9 years ago. Still a good deal.
