ive been looking at the "Quick Attach" brand of attachments, and just received their catalog, The items look nice and beefy, but was wondering if anyone here has used them, and what they feel is good or bad about them.

i like that you can buy direct from them, but then again, i cant go and look at the actual item before i buy it.

any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have the 84" snow blade with optional wings.

Here's a link to my original post when I purchased it.

I've used it for 4 seasons now and have been very pleased. The option to convert from a plow to pusher is very nice when clearing larger lots. When doing driveways I switch it back to a standard blade and angle the snow to the sides.

thank you for your reply.....you have the exact unit ive been thinking of getting for my DK45se hst tractor. do you have enuf power to push heavier accumulations? i have an hst not gear, so ive been alittle worried about the 7 foot blade.

I'm running mine on a Case DX45 (45 hp HST) so I'm assuming my setup should be very similar to yours as far as power. I don't think you should have any issues with power. On occasion I have lost traction with a full pusher in deep snow but not often. I'm running loaded R4 tires without chains. My Case has two ranges with high/low in each range (range 1-low being the slowest most powerful and range 2-high being the fastest least powerful. I have always been able to plow in range 2-low and have never had to plow in range 1. Most snows here are 5-10 inches and usually not a very wet snow for reference. I always fill the pusher and overflow it before running out of power in 2-low.

**edit - I've used it for 3 snow seasons so far, not 4.

I saw your post about your 84" Quick Push Blade by Quick Attach. I'm thinking of getting the 72" for my New Holland Boomer 35 (38 hp). Have you ever used yours off pavement? To plow trails in the woods or field? With the optional wings, do you find you do not have to change back to your bucket to move piles? Thanks for any input you might have.

it has a place to add two grade 8 bolts that locks the springs from releasing. According to the instructions this allows the plow to be used to move LOOSE fill. ive used it to grade new gravel that was delivered and it worked ok. Its not heavy enough, nor is a tractor loader heavy enough to plow solid ground. thats what bulldozers are for hehe

as for the wings, i LOVE them. I will engage one side (the side angled furthest from the tractor) while plowing roads and no snow will roll over the outside edge back onto the area that i have already plowed.

In one area of my driveway i DONT want gravel mixed snow to accumulate cause i have to rake the gravel off the lawn come spring. In this area i engage both sides and make the plow into a snow pusher. Then i can push all this snow to a staging area i have set up. then come spring i simply can use the tractor to spread the gravel.

I never have to use the bucket to move snow anymore.... but i do swap between plow and blower alot. mind you its only a 2-3 minute swap out
