Anyone have any experiance with cross drawbars? Would like to use one on a quick hitch.

I use them but only problem is u need
so kind of anti-roll device if using a ball
type hitch.
Also trailer can push up on hitch if not
enough tongue weight.
There are plenty of posts on this before.

Try this thread:

How you would ever use this on a quick hitch is a mystery to me, because it seems it would get really complicated.

I do not want to take the quick hitch off since I use this a great deal. I was hoping the cross bar would attach at the lower two points the same way any other impliment would attach /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif. Thanks for the information /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Von,
are those what you call pittmen instead of sway chains on the inside of your lower links? I wish I had a setup like that. Where did you get those? Solid instead of flexible, good for pushing with rear blade backwards.

   / Drawbar Question #7
Grub, Those are standard on Kubota's B2710-29. They have been fitted to many of the smaller B's by their owners. I think this is the same set up on some of the NH's as well.

The draw bar would attach in 2 lower
links, does your Q-T have sleeves that
go over the lower links.
What are u going to pull w/ drawbar?

There are sleves that go over the lower links. Would like to be able to pull a small trailer that I used with my old lawn tractor.

Grub
If your chains are adjusted snug on each side, they will function the same as the solid when pushing on a rear blade. But both sides need to be snug.

My Deere 4300 has the solid. And they are easier to get snug than are chains.
