I use them but only problem is u need
so kind of anti-roll device if using a ball
type hitch.
Also trailer can push up on hitch if not
enough tongue weight.
There are plenty of posts on this before.
I do not want to take the quick hitch off since I use this a great deal. I was hoping the cross bar would attach at the lower two points the same way any other impliment would attach /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif. Thanks for the information /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
Von,
are those what you call pittmen instead of sway chains on the inside of your lower links? I wish I had a setup like that. Where did you get those? Solid instead of flexible, good for pushing with rear blade backwards.
Grub, Those are standard on Kubota's B2710-29. They have been fitted to many of the smaller B's by their owners. I think this is the same set up on some of the NH's as well.

If your chains are adjusted snug on each side, they will function the same as the solid when pushing on a rear blade. But both sides need to be snug.
My Deere 4300 has the solid. And they are easier to get snug than are chains.
