Kubota L3400 gear
Hi,
I just bought 5 feet wide KK. I hope my L3400 will be able to handle it without a problem. Anyone has an experience with it?

Thanks,
Joe

I'm assuming you purchased a rotary cutter in which case you will have no problems at all behind a L3400.

You've got the required PTO HP. At worst case (if the tractor's engine starts bogging), you may have to slow down.
Keep at eye on the temperature gage and keep the grills clean when brush cutting.

I run a 5' king cutter on my l3400... no problem. Ditto what Roy said about keeping the radiator screen clean... it plugs up faster than you would think.

Check your gearbox oil ! Also watch lift angles if running on hilly terrain.
You should'nt have any trouble w/that 5'.I run a BH 172 (6') behind my L3400.

I have a 6' KK behind a 3400 (gear). Just make sure the slip clutch is adjusted properly.

I am running a 5ft tiller on a L3240 and it does fine. It does bog a little in wet ground.. Other than that I have no problem.. Geee shouldnt run it in wet ground anyway! :D
