Mahindra 2615
hi everybody I have a mahindra 2615 and I want to buy a york rake for it but I don't know what size. The tractor has a 60inch bucket on it but the back tires are a little wider then 60 inches Should I buy a 6 foot rake or a 7 foot rake and does the york rake at tractor supply good or should I buy a better name brand thanks paul

I would check these out. Everything Attachments | Skid Steer Attachments, Tractor Attachments, 3 Point Hitch Attachments, and Farm Tractor Implements.

Free shipping if you are close enough to them. A 7 footer would be my preference.

I have the KK from TSC in the 6'. I would not go larger than that on your tractor. Its a fine rake and don't think there is an advantage to spending more. Good luck.

I've got a Mahindra 2810 HST with a 60" bucket on the front and i have a 72" Rake from Tractor Supply. It does a good job, its well made, at a good price what more do you need?. . . John

I'd get an 8' rake. When you have it angled at 45 degrees, it will cover the tire tracks perfectly. It does NOT take very much power to pull a rake. I can pull mine with an ATV.

The 45 degree angle is best for smoothing out ruts in a gravel drive or roadway. Get gauge wheels for it, too. They allow the rake to follow the smoothed roadway instead of the wallowing around the tractor might do.

I have a 30hp MF1040 with weight filled tires (Approx 4000lbs). My 6' rake can load up and stop this tractor. Yes, the angle helps, but if you are using it to help level the dirt out you want to be able to dig a little with it. I find the landscape rake to be the most useful tool for getting those high spots etc.

The rake in the straight position is for the rough grading. As you angle the rake the less aggressive the tines become. Until the final grading (raking) with the rake in the 45 or turn it around backwards.
