Glad to see you are looking at pull-types anyhow. In my opinion, there is not a 3-point disc that is worth its weight in scrap metal. I dont know much about new ones, but I paid $100 for an old, 8-foot, JD, pull-type a couple years ago that has worked like a champ. Actually, it was free because I fixed up a couple old drags the old farmer thru in with the deal and sold them for more than that. I am using less than half the fuel to get my discing done, compared to the 6.5 ft, Dearborn, 3-point I used for 15 years prior. Just in the nick of time with today's fuel prices.

If you can find one the International model 37 wheel disk was a good one. They had seal berings and you could move the gangs to cut more aggressive. I would like to find one. I have a 10 foot model 35 International and it does a nice job but it takes a lot of grease everyday. I pull a 10 foot with a 4700 Deere 4wd and it seems to handle it well.

Here's a few different ones. Any of these work for you? If you gave us the size of the tractor that you are going to use, we could help you out better.

I'll take a daily greasing over replacing bearings every week.

Those are sweet! Anyone else making one with the oil bath bearings? Bet they cost a few bucks.
