Neighbor was cleaning out his grove and had an older Ford Disc and I think the tag says it is a model 221. (Name plate was pretty beat up). He thought his dad used to pull it with an 8N or 9N but wasn't sure. It is 3PH and measures approx 5' wide with 20" blades. Has the option of allowing the rear gang to float independant of the front by removing two bolts. weather permitting and we get it completely dug out will post a couple of pics.

Questions I have are:

Does any one know if this has ball bearings in it or wear type wooden blocks.

Are the nuts that hold the disk blades on the gangs left or right hand thread? Right front gang is loose.

Any other info on the old disk would be appreciated. I am hoping to use it to level off some of my pasture that I want to turn into yard.

Should give my little BX a work out..

TIA

Roy
