Grapple A different approach to adding a grapple

The price of a remote does vary dramatically with brand. My Kioti dealer charged $350 to put in a second set when I bought the tractor. That included his labor so parts must have been way less than what NH charges.

Yeah, NH rapes customers on the price of that valve section to add a remote.

You can add one of these to the bucket curl circuit: Surplus Center - 12 VDC 13.2 GPM SAE 8 DOUBLE SELECTOR VALVE

A pushbutton can then be mounted on your joystick that you press to select the grapple function instead of curl.

So with this valve you plum in the system at the Joy Stick? What would a Cylinder cost to operate a small graple like on the unit above?

It goes between the joystick and where the curl circuit branches to the cylinders. I have this 2x8 cylinder on my grapple. 2 X 8 ASAE RED HYDRAULIC CYLINDER - Agri Supply

Thanks for the info

I would like to build a Grapple for the three point hitch too Like Hydro Log Tongs. Could this setup be used for both front and rear? Or should I just save up for rear wet lines?

That's an issue of ergonomics. I don't really like the idea of manipulating the loader joystick while looking back at a 3ph implement. Right now I am running my grapple off a rear remote and planning to upgrade to the selector valve to free up the remote and improve the ergonomics.

I guess I would recommend biting the bullet on the NH rear remote for use on a 3ph implement.
