I'm not sure if anything like this has ever been done...if not , there maybe a reason LOL. I hate weeding the garden ,so brainstorming one evening, I came up with this to help me continue my lazy ways... It is an adjustable rake that is pulled between rows. I can adjust it side to side and the rakes pivot as well, to vary the width. I tried it out before painting it and it has done very well.

Great invention :thumbsup:

A lot of the large veg producers in southern spain use similar equipment, although much bigger to cope with the field sizes. My only recomendation would be to angle the tines so that they point forward (towards the back of the tractor) slightly. You will find that they then uproot more weeds, and also collect the weed for you - at the end of the row all you have to do it back up a foot and the collected weed will drop off.

Any chance of seeing a video of it working?

Sure..I'll post a video of it when my garden dries out a little. We finally had some rain last night. I put the pic of it in the garden to show my idea ... didnt want to get very aggressive until dry. But, I did use it several times before I painted it, and its done very well. Now if I can figure out how to get the weeds out from between the plants . :D Unfortunately,there is going to be a limited use now that my plants are maturing

Nice job on the fabrication! Looks better than many commercially made implements.

Nice job building that! :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Make a couple more and put them at your dealer to sell for you! :D

We use something similar, but instead of attaching it to a tractor we attach it to a long round stick! :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

Looks nice, and a job well done. For me, I just converted my 2 roll cultivator into a 1 roll and it does a fine job. I got tired of having to wide my wheels out and then closing them back in.

Great idea and a mighty fine looking attachment.:thumbsup:

It's just a size too big for my raised beds. Shucks.!!:D

Nice garden as well.:thumbsup:

Nice fabrication. In the current Farm Show is a similar attachment that also has wings or plows that form the raised beds. You might want to look that up. Miked74T
