I got what I thought was a good deal at the local Kubota dealership Saturday. They had what appeared to be a new RC 1048 Rotary Cutter that was very gently used. No kidding, the salesman had a story about a little old lady that wanted to help her husband chop so he got her the machine. After just two hours of operation she realized it was not her cup of tea so he traded it in for something else. I paid $620.00 with the tax and couldn't be happier. I checked the web-site and found I even had a few options on it with the slip clutch and the debris catching chains front and back. And here I thought the Kubota place was way out of my price range.

Does it look similar to the one below? This is a 15-48 mower that I no longer have but I bought it used about 13 years ago at a local Ford tractor dealer for $450 with new blades installed on it. I thought that was good price back then. Not sure what the difference is between a 10-48 and a 15-48, anybody know? As for yours, being that it's only 2 hours old, be happy with the purchase and use it!! Mine was a great mower and it held up very well, no problems whatsoever. The picture was taken after 10 yrs of use, right before I sold it and the JD750 it was hooked up to. Good luck with your mower!

It looks similar. I used it for half the day yesterday reclaiming what the forest is trying to take from me. Worked like a charm. I have no manual with it and wasn't able to find one online so I went to the Wood's site and found one similar and used it for the hook-up procedures, top link adjustment etc. I found the Wood's manual very helpful and think I got everything I needed. I just have to check the slip clutch and I'll be good to go. I mowed yesterday in an area I knew to be free of rock's, stump's etc. I don't wanna push my luck when I enter uncharted ground.

Oops, here I was thinking that the mower you bought was a Landpride, but you said it was a Woods. Mine was a Landpride, sorry about that!
