Bushhog 406
or
Woods BB7200X

either of these will survive, anything smaller, no.
dunno what a 406 goes for, but I bet it's 4 or 5 grand.
the woods BB7200X is 5 grand and weighs over 1500lbs. (yes, that's right, one thousand five hundred. I bet the 406 is similar), I know that for a fact.

rhino = unsupported junk.

Landpride doesn't make an extreme duty style mower.

not sure that Schulte makes a 6', I believe all they make is 15, 20 or more. (serious heavy duty, and you pay for it)

I really like the heavy duty Brown series, very tough machine. I have a friend that maintains right-of-way for Atlanta Gas Light and he uses either Rhino or Brown for their durability.

I have a JD609 which has tackled all heavy duty cutting jobs I have had. And It is small enough to get into tight spaces. I think most all the brands identified by members in this thread will perform. Final choice in my opionion would rest on personal preference, and service available in your specific area.

I have a 5' Brown tree cutter which is great for trees (up to 7") and heavy brush but terrible on grass. My Bush Hog 306 (older verion of 406) which is better on grass but will still cut a 4" tree. My Woods Brush Bull 600 is good up to a 3" tree and does a great jobon heavy grass. Parts are easy to get on all three.
