Chipper Looking for a 3pt Wood Chipper

I was wondering if someone could recommend a good 3pt wood chipper that will take trees that are 6" in diameter or larger. I would prefer American made. Everything I run into seems to come from China with really bad reviews... Thanks in Advance for any help that you can provide...

Look at Salsco chippers.
I have a 10 inch model 6210 XT that I really like. Obviously it must match the power of the tractor. Mine is a monster nearly 2000 lbs on the three point hitch and built like a tank. Hydraulic feed also comes gravity feed in most models. Made in NE USA by American workers.

I'm going to recommend Valby (I believe they're Canadian built...definitely not Chinese!!). Very tough machines, but pricey.

I wouldn't have any problem with either of those or the Brush Bandit either . I do have a Chinese one with about ten hours that you can have cheap though ! :laughing:

I'll second the Salsco chipper though when I bought mine it was a Wallenstein - primarily because I couldn't justify the cost of the Salsco. If I were using it commercially, every day it would have made sense - but I don't & for me the Wallenstein is good enough (and a fine unit it is)
