Here's a few images of our Caroni TM1900, on a Deere 4320 with iMatch. The bottom pins work fine, the top pin will be too high for an iMatch-type setup. My father-in-law and I came up with this solution and had our local fab guy make it up. Works well and the plates can be left on for most other uses of the hitch - though I'd be sure to remove or tie completely out of the way for implements needing a drive-shaft. Simple ingredients of 1/4" x 2.5" steel, a longer top link pin and two large washers either side both ends (total 8). Adds maybe 30 seconds to the mounting process.

Was going to post in the huge flail mower thread but thought it might not be easily searchable in the future by others with the same question.

Lordy lordy, I love it when a plan comes together;
Now all you need is the dip stick extender for the gear box.

It smacked me in the puss yesterday as I forgot that the
fitting is actually a Male/Female British standard pipe coupler
that can be ordered from a hydraulic supply shop or the vendor
that Island Tractor has mentioned.

Used it for a few hours without oil overflow - so do I really need extender?? Also for reference for others I found the second lowest setting of the side rails and roller for height to work well for our uses of cutting roadside grass/weeds without hitting the odd small rock or the road excessively.

If you have no issues with foaming at the vent no worries,
just be sure to maintain the oil level while working.

Before I forget it Dr., do you leave the top link loose enough
to allow the front of the Caroni to follow the countour and
allow it to mow more closely and avoid scalping?

My dad has many hours on his TM1900 now & has never had a drop come out, & never did any dipstick mods of any kind. And yes it does have oil in it :)

OP, I see you have a red roller!?! My dad's is not painted. Does this mean yours is like brand new, or is that the greatest red paint ever??!

Nice top-link design, BTW! :thumbsup:

The roller was brand new - paint isn't lasting long! The top link design does allow easy pivoting and movement (much more than an iMatch would if it fit normally). The slot in the top attachment point of the Caroni itself also allows movement. In experimenting prior to the design we realized the top is only ever under tension, not compression so a chain or belt etc. would work, this just seemed easier and prettier.

All you need for the mower now is a big yellow bow and you will be ready for xmas with all those pretty colors, OOOPS!, I mean Boxing Day.
