Thanks. I've got a few years of grapple work to go yet, don't get to work on the place much due to a six hours drive between here and there... :-( You have some nice pics too.

Here's a picture of my wildkat grapple. I was cleaning up the shop yesterday trying to reclaim floor space and found my bucket will fit in the grapple for storage.

Here are some pics of my little 30 hp tractor and grapple at work. There is one in there of the grapple valve I added to control the grapple right beside my loader valve. A grapple is real handy as we already know.

Gordon,
I like how you keep the iron rake on your bucket like that!

The pic of the logs in the dump truck is great  Almost makes me miss having snow around.....almost.

By the way, where did you get your tire chains?

By the way, where did you get your tire chains?

I got the chains at Desmarais Equipment in Orleans, VT. Very unfortunately they closed their doors 3 weeks ago. They were a great Kubota dealer and I really depended on them for all kinds of stuff. Now I need to find someone else I can trust.

The chains are are made by Tellefsdal from Norway. I think the wholesale distributor is in Manchester NH but I dont know the name.

I just noticed I did't put up a rock picture. Gotta have a rock pic

I have been trying to determine if I can use a grapple to dig up large rocks, or do I need a backhoe? Any rocks I need will be at least partially exposed.

It looks from your rock example, a grapple will do the trick, yes?

I know a grapple will do a lot of other chores that I need to have done and I hate to buy a backhoe for moving rocks, if it can be avoided.

Thanks

Piston,

Terrible idea.

Now I need to get off the tractor more often and take more grapple pics...

Did I see a sawmill in one of your pics? Are you making your own lumber (I hate you! I'm so jealous!).

David
