I did a little firewood cutting a few weeks ago and thought I'd post some pics....

I think the pictures say it good enough, and don't really need a description, but by all means if there are any questions just ask

Is there anything you don't use it for? :D

I especially like the fourth one. Looks like you could come right up and dump it in my wood shed. Prefect size. 18" ?

Your right, most firewood I cut is 17"-18". It works perfect for my Woodstock Fireview

I took a couple loads down from where I cut my firewood, to my house, put the load of wood over the fence, and then take it off by hand and stack it. Next stop is the woodstove.

I bought a Brown 472 Rotary Cutter from a friend from work, and when I picked it up he let me use his tractor to load it.

This is one of the heavier tractor grapples I've seen in person, it had 1/2" tines and was super heavy duty. It wouldn't have worked on a tractor as small as mine but sure was a beast on his 80hp New Holland!

I found myself posting a bunch of pics of my grapple over on another thread, and realized I love posting pics of it, so I figured I would start a thread for grapple pics.
I'll try to post more and more pics of my 'grappling fun' as time goes on. However, since it seems grapples are getting more and more popular and people are using them for more and more jobs, I encourage anyone else to post your "grappling fun" pics as well

I just got to this thread, thanks for starting it!

On your grapple, do you have 2 different remotes? Can you operate the 2 grapples independently or what? I'm googling and not seeing how that works yet.

Since I'm a grapple newbie, if they are independent, what's the advantage of that? Most of the stuff I'm imagining doing is tree work, moving brush to the chipper, moving logs, root balls, that sort of thing. Can you educate me on why I want independent grapples rather than just one wide one?

Thanks, and great pictures, especially the series with your dad. Gave me a pang, my dad has been gone for ~10 years, I would have loved to have had a series of pics like that with him.
