Folks,

I have a JD 3320 and 5 acres (about 3 acres need fertilization). The PTO Ag spreaders all seem way to large for these 3 acres.
2 questions:

Anyone have a spreader recommendation which will work with my JD 3320 ?
I was looking at the ATV spreaders offered by Northern Tool. Is there any easy way to attach an ATV spreader to my 3 point hitch ?

About your spreader needs;

The only way you will be able to sucessfully
use an ATV spreader is do a lot of welding
to make a frame for it to mount it on the
three point hitch OR preferably to attach
it to the draw bar which will require less
fabricating.

The problem with ATV spreaders is that
the material volume control is poor
and you could spread more material
with out realising it and have a fried
lawn.

It may pay you to purchase a spinner
spreader that is P.T.O., operated as
you will have better control over your
fertiliser.

You should check the Befco line for
the least expensive model.

Even adjusting the spinner spreader
at the lowest settng will avoid wasting
material and you can always add more
fertilizer at the lowest setting making
a second or third pass as the spinner
will cast the fertilizer a wide distance
for you.
