12 foot batwing mower rated for only 35 PTO horsepower??? Wow! Someone on here will buy one and I want a review. Anyone seen one yet? They appear to be made lightweigt in the bladepans and shaft/gearboxes to be able to be run with low HP tractors. A interesting mower indeed.

That 35 pto hp is a minimum rating. The asking prices for these units appear to be in the $9000 to $10,000 ballpark.:(

Heres a thread already started on the TS 12.

I like Servis/Rhino products but IMHO anybody that can afford a $10,000 rotary to pull it with 35 pto hp and in some cases a scut, can afford a beefier and larger tractor and an already proven unit.I might be wrong but appears the "wings" on this cutter are raised up and down by blood, sweat and tears.I too am interested in future reports from the field.

Bull, not sure what you mean about lifting the wings.......from the pics it has hydraulic lift cylinders like any other winged cutter.

The funniest thing about it to me is, ironically, with the wings lifted in transport position the two main transport wheels on the main deck are so narrowly tracked that I might be a little worried about its stability. I dunno, just kind of stood out to me.......

he means that it appears there isnt hydro cylinders to lift the wings,an you have to muscle them up.

Looks neat, but there is no way I could sell that to myself. I'm tired of mowing at 6ft per pass, but there are too many other toys I want for that price, not to mention a 4x4 diesel tractor around 50hp.
