Finally had a call from them after my last email and and also left phone message.
They still got BHs for sale on ebay..said i was going to leave Neg feedback and a few other things i'm kinda sorry for,but anyway said he would call me tomorrow about replacing the pump...He was out of town last week and didn't get my message:laughing:Let you know if i get the pump and pushing my luck with gearbox.....:(

You should email them from a different email address asking questions about buying a backhoe. When they reply, ask what their after sales service/support policies are and if there have been any reported pump problems. Would be interested in what they have to say. I hate companies that refuse to acknowledge you after you made the purchase.

I've been waiting to see how this BH works, but it sounds like the same company that does the chippers. Obviously they dont have any QA.

Pros and cons with alternative hydraulic powering the BH

Unfortunately, several Chinese vendors do use the same nomenclature (LW-7, HW-05, JW-04) for their backhoe products, making vendor traceability difficult. These have probably been on the market for nearly a decade now. Therefore we'll see several generations of backhoes still for sale, some older, some newer. While some improvements for sure have been made throughout the years, still some inherent design flaws from the inception exists, eg. no grease zerks for the twin boom swing cylinders causing those cylinder's attaching shafts to brake.

Another problematic area are with the low quality of the PTO gearbox supplied. The mechanical mismatch between the Chinese made PTO gearbox and the hydraulic pump often causing the pump to leak hydraulic oil. PTO-driven hydraulic gearboxes and pumps are commodity items, and several good recommended combinations are available on all western marketplaces.

Normally a CBN-E310 pump is supplied with the gearbox, which delivers 20 liter/minute flow. All the hydraulic hoses of the backhoe are designed for this rather relaxed pump requirement.

There exists of course the option of powering the backhoe from the tractor's hydraulic quick disconnect outlet ports, but not without taking som precaution measures, in order to not stall the tractor as well, if/when problems occurs with the backhoe. Using a breakaway valve, using a return oil filter are two good examples. However, if the hydraulic oil reservoar of the tractor is too small, the oil with heat up, therefore an oil cooler might be considered.

Both methods should be rather straight forward and without too much mounting time of the backhoe to the tractor, all should be up and running quite easily. However, old Murphy's law predicts; If things can go wrong, it will! Therefore, it's recommended to go through the warranty responsibilties with the seller upfront, prior to the purchase.

Well guys my Liberty BH arrived and i had nothing to do but attached it to the
tractor with all atachments might i add that were included. Only thing i had to do was cut the PTO drive shaft off to suit and add oil which i found locally at a Petro Canada warehouse. Fired it up and tried all functions this this is just too sweet :):)

The price advertised included everything, Shipping, Taxes, Duty, Built in
PTO Pump, Filter and a tail lift to my door. What can i say everything !!!
Do i sound posative or happy... :) :) :) WELL YES !

I know the feeling of looking on the internet seeing something that looks too good to be true and then ordering it not know who your sending your money to and if you'll ever see anything from it. Well all i can say is these guys are professional and the couple of times i checked status of my order i
was emailed within the same day and even called to confirm i got the email.

Before i ordered i went as far as to called their tech support to test the waters and see if i would get someone. I got the same responce so thats what confirmed ordering from Liberty Bachhoes. :thumbsup:

All assembled and ready to use and no hidden or unexpected charges, that's exactly how it should always be. How long did delivery take? I thought you ordered it mid July 6-7 weeks ago. Was the pump Chinese made? Oldsmonkey had many problems with his Chinese pump. Most of his problems were solved after he picked up a Prince pump.

Any pictures of your new backhoe? One more question - are you building a subframe?

I've watched this thread from the start and was hoping to see some resolution from Oldsmokey, but so far nothing. Also I've waited for someone to post photos.
Maybe I'm just too cynical, but my take on the 200Trueblue post is that it is/was Liberty incognito.

I have read on another forum that oldsmonkey has his backhoe working with the Prince Pump.
