I took advantage of my dealer's 10% off sale on parts during their annual open house to get a hydraulic side link ($191 x .9 = $172). It's a Tisco with a range of 15" to 19", which is the same as the existing side link. So, a project that I started about a year ago (I got the rear remote hydraulics installed a year ago and then got a Gearmore hydraulic top link in August) is finally complete! I have a fair amount of landscaping chores to get done this year (if it ever stops snowing), so it should come in real handy. The Tisco is not as heavy duty as the Gearmore, but the side link doesn't take as much pounding, so it should be fine.

Mosey, Whats going on here? A new loader on order, shopping for a Switch-Hitch, and a new hydraulic tilt cylinder. Did you hit the lotto numbers or did you cheat on your tax return? All kidding aside this is great news, you have been very patient man and you deserve some new toys. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Oh, I fogot to ask for the photos.

Spencer - Cummins surprised me by actually showing a profit last year (just paper shuffling, not really a profit - mostly just cost savings), so I'm getting an unexpected profit sharing check!

Cedarranch - Sorry, I'm all out now!

You're welcome! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif I started buying N14's last year instead of going solely with Detroit Diesel 60 Series 12.7L's. I'm sure that's what did it. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Danny,

Did you post details before about the Gearmore Top Link ???
Is it a true Cat 1 link or bushed down Cat 2 ??

If you posted before...let me know when, I couldn't find it.

Thanks

Yes, it's a cat 1 top link. Here's the thread I posted about it: Spence, hydraulic top link questions. The link to Spencer's post doesn't work anymore for some reason. I'll try to look for that one.

Here is a picture of the side link, which I finally got around to actually trying out yesterday.

It's way too sensitive though. I started a new thread on this:

Hydraulic side link is too sensitive
