Yes, I am cross posting from another forum. I also have an email in over at John Bean, but nothing back yet.

I just picked up an older, thinking around 50's John Bean pull behind sprayer. It has the Wisconsin VH4D, and the pump had a model # 15. I'm thinking the tank is at least 250 gallons with agitator. It's heavy enough that I can feel my TO-35 steering get alot easier.

Right now it is setup to spray trees, with some vertical pipe on each side at the back.

This is my first dabble in spraying equipment so I was trying to get a better understanding of how it all works together. My dad last used it when he was a kid and he thought he remembers his grandpa turning the valves a certain way and the pump would pull water out of the pond and fill the tank. Would this make sense or a common feature?

That would be helpful as I am still on the hunt for a cheap pump, but if this can do it, better for my wallet. Of course depending on how much this is going to rip me to get it going, but nothing new would be as nice as using my tractor I grew up on at my grandparents farm, to pull a sprayer my great grandpa used on his farm.

Any sites with common info or manuals on these? Good place to track parts down?
